Event Description
Continuing through the month of July at Heron Rock Bistro, Carron Berkes is showing an eclectic mix of nature-themed and abstract paintings in acrylic and mixed-media. Works presented in this show speak of subtle and vibrant energy, light, color, shape and form. Infused with simplicity and imagination, Berkes' art blends realism (Thundering Surf and Contemplation II) with dreamy interpretations of the physical world (Guardian Amidst Us and Search for Balance). The art show runs until July 30th.
Carron Berkes is a local artist who enjoys painting (acrylics and watercolours), mixed media, recycled art and found objects, sculpting and photography. Her many colourful themes include the natural world (plants, animals and landscapes), abstraction, figurative and whimsical narratives. Her art is in private collections in Canada, Germany and America.
Free community event and suitable for all ages and family members.
