About

Assimilator

since circa 2004
Assimilator was formed in the sweltering summer of 2004, by four guys from four different places, all with different backgrounds and influences to bring to the table. Jay Scilla, Ryan Olszewski, Jeff Miller, and John Matter “became the band”. After countless mind melding jams, songs began to form. The four didn't know what they could call such an anomaly, only that there would be necessity for a new genre called grindthrashrocknoisecore, or reallyfuckingheavyandloudcore. Countless name changes, and plenty of beer later, Assimilator was born. They spend most of their days kicking ass and taking names as they see fit. Apparently resistance is futile.
