Event Description
Flux / Us: When does music stop being music? When does everything around us stop being objects and start being art or even music? What is this Fluxus business anyway? This flux-workshop will focus on Fluxus, a loosely organized movement starting in the 1960's that brought into question the boundaries between music, visual art, performance art and anything and everything art/music related or not. The workshop will include an introduction to Fluxus, performances of historical Fluxus works and the collaboration of participants to create/perform a Fluxus work. All participants should bring an object (objects may be eaten, destroyed, reassembled and/or ignored) and an open mind (a sense of humour will also help). Open to all.
