It's that time of year again folks. Mark your calendars cuz on Monday February 14th you’ll be at THE PEOPLE'S PROM!
“What’s The People's Prom?” you may ask. Only the most kick ass antidote to Valentine’s Day in the city. You like funk and frolic? Love and revolution? Perfect. Wicked beats, valentine treats and dance floor feats await you at the best dance party you’ve been to since grade 10, guaranteed.
The People's Prom is the prom you never had in high school: it's a radical, community-oriented, anti-capitalist, queer, cross-dressing, gender bending, bike loving, slow dancing, big dress wearing, good time. It's annual, it's in East Van, and it's a fundraiser for creative resistance and direct action in BC.
