Sydneys ART vs SCIENCE have crammed the kind of heady ascent experienced by the luckiest of bands into a timeline that belies their few short years. From regional pubs to national festivals, the three-piece have built a massive following on the basis of two simple abiding principles:
1 Loud dance music played 100% live. 2 Absolute, unrelenting fun.
In doing so theyve become a live powerhouse; selling out shows, ascending to festival favourites the nation over, staying up all night and sometimes right into the morning and regularly arresting the eyes and ears of all who witness their peculiar brand of madness. Or as one international headliner recently squeezed: how am I supposed to follow that?
This is dance music for Marshall stacks heaving/heavy heart music for your hips. AC/DC throwing robots in a drum shop, Daft Punk beating on bolt guns.
