Whimsical Accordionists: Kate Romain, Allie Kane

We're excited to host old Gorge-ous favourite Kate Romain with her friend Allie Kane on March 10!

Kate Romain combines professional, whimsical accordion playing with kazoo-horns, foot-percussion and vocal sound tricks to create an engaging, fun one-person act enjoyed by any age or background. Expect an eclectic mix of European folk-dance tunes, honky-old american folk sing-alongs and originals. Based in Victoria, Kate keeps busy composing music, juggling and printmaking. Allie Kane lives out in the Kootenay town of Kaslo with her three wee sons and partner. She is coming to Victoria and wanting to share songs, stories and laughs. Come sit and listen to gypsy waltz, celtic ballads and love songs.
